Cleaning the Slate: A Step-by-Step Guide to Deleting All Minecraft Created Servers

31 July 2023

Server List

As a Minecraft player, you might find yourself with a long list of servers you've joined or created over time. Clearing out this clutter can be beneficial, especially if you want to start fresh or organize your server list. In this step-by-step guide, we will walk you through the process of deleting all Minecraft created servers, helping you clean the slate and streamline your server browsing experience.

Step 1: Accessing the Server List

To begin, launch Minecraft and navigate to the multiplayer section. Here, you'll find a list of all the servers you've joined or created previously. It's essential to note that deleting created servers will not impact your single-player worlds or servers you've joined.

Step 2: Removing Individual Servers

Before deleting all the created servers, you might want to remove specific ones manually. To do this, right-click on the server you wish to delete and select the "Delete" or "Remove" option from the context menu. Confirm your action if prompted. Repeat this process for all the servers you want to remove individually.

Step 3: Deleting Multiple Servers

If you have a significant number of created servers and wish to delete them all at once, Minecraft provides a handy shortcut. Press and hold the "Shift" key on your keyboard and click on the first server you want to delete. While still holding the "Shift" key, scroll down the list and click on the last server you want to delete. This will highlight all the servers in between.

Step 4: Confirming Deletion

With all the servers you want to delete highlighted, right-click on any of them and select the "Delete" or "Remove" option. Minecraft will ask you to confirm your action. Click "Yes" to delete all the selected servers. Be cautious, as this action is irreversible, and once deleted, the servers cannot be recovered.

Step 5: Relaunching Minecraft

After deleting the servers, exit the multiplayer section, and relaunch Minecraft. When you return to the multiplayer menu, you'll find that the servers you deleted are no longer present, leaving you with a clean slate to start anew.

Clearing out your Minecraft server list can be a satisfying and practical process, allowing you to focus on your favorite servers and organize your multiplayer experiences better. Whether you choose to delete individual servers or clear them all at once, this step-by-step guide has provided you with the knowledge to clean the slate and streamline your Minecraft server browsing. Embrace the freedom of a fresh start and embark on new adventures with a clutter-free server list. Happy Minecrafting!
